Find the signal in your to-do list.
Every morning, pick your Big 3: the few things that would make today a win. Everything else can wait. Finish them, and small wins start to compound.
Most of your to-do list is noise.
A long list feels productive, but it hides the few things that actually move your day forward. Signl List keeps one simple list, day by day, and asks one question each morning: what would make today a win?
How it works
Three habits, built into one calm list.
Pick your Big 3
A short morning plan helps you choose up to three to-dos that matter most. After 6pm, plan tomorrow instead.
Let the rest roll forward
Anything unfinished moves to today on its own. If something keeps sliding, Signl List asks: still important? Keep it, or let it go.
See where your time went
Insights shows how much of your finished time went to your Big 3, your streak, and how your routines are going.
Signal vs noise.
Your Big 3 is the signal. Everything else is noise, and that's fine. It still needs doing. Signl List shows how your finished time splits between the two, measured against a goal you set.
The default goal is 80%. Add a time to any to-do, or let Signl List estimate it for you.
Close. Start tomorrow with a Big 3 before opening email and you'll clear 80%.
Everything a day needs. Nothing it doesn't.
Simple on the surface, with the details where you need them.
One list, day by day
Swipe between days and add a to-do with one tap. Give it a time, a note, or any date. No date yet? Put it in Later.
Routines, kept separate
The gym, walking the dog, school pick-up. Routines repeat on the days you pick, sit below your to-dos, and never count against your focus.
Streaks that forgive
Finish your Big 3 and your streak grows. A day or two without a plan doesn't break it. Only a missed Big 3 does.
Recovery days
Rest is part of the plan. On a recovery day nothing is due, nothing counts as missed, and your streak is safe.
Search everything
Find any to-do, note, or routine, including everything you've already finished.
Make it yours
Eight colours, light and dark. Optional morning and evening reminders. Your week can start on Monday or Sunday.
Private by design.
Signl List has no account and no servers. Everything stays on your iPhone, and you can back it up to a file whenever you like.
Questions
The short answers.
What is the Big 3?
The Big 3 are the few to-dos that would make today a win. You can star up to three each day. They're the signal. Everything else on your list is still there, it just isn't what defines the day.
What happens to to-dos I don't finish?
They move to today on their own, with a small tag showing how long they've been waiting. After three moves, Signl List asks if the to-do is still important. Keep it, or let it go.
What's the difference between a to-do and a routine?
To-dos move forward. Routines repeat. A to-do is a one-off for a specific day. A routine, like the gym or walking the dog, repeats on the days you choose. Routines are never part of your Big 3 and never carry over.
How is signal vs noise calculated?
It's the share of your finished time that went to your Big 3. Each to-do can have a time (15 minutes to 2 hours or more, or a custom length). If you don't add one, Signl List estimates 45 minutes for a Big 3 and 15 minutes for everything else.
Will taking a day off break my streak?
No. Make it a recovery day and your streak steps right over it. Up to two days in a row with no Big 3 set also count as rest. Only a Big 3 you set and didn't finish breaks a streak.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your iPhone. There's no account, and we never receive your data. If iCloud Backup is on, Apple includes it in your device backup, the same as for other apps.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
In Settings โ Your data, tap Back up and save the file somewhere like Files or iCloud Drive. On your new phone, choose Restore and pick that file.
Does it cost anything?
Signl List is free.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Signl List launches on iPhone first.
Small wins, every day.
Signl List is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone.
